About Me

Andrew Stark (aka Nowhere Man)

2008 marked a quarter of a century of photographic practice for Australian artist Andrew Stark. Wandering the local cul de sac, unsponsored and uncommissioned, the Sydney born Stark has captured moments of raw poignancy relishing the everyday occurrence, using street photography to make sense of his immediate world... he's a real nowhere man, sitting in his nowhere land, making all his nowhere plans for nobody ...
he's as blind as he can be, sees just want he wants to see ...

"Andrew Stark is one of the most interesting and dynamic camera artists working today"                 - Art Monthly Australia (Feb 2009)
